The Star reports that Johor Zoo is now having a project that enables student to apply generic skills.
Iskandar Malaysia Graduate Leadership, Assessment and Development program, also known as Imglad is collaboration among Johor Zoo, The Iskandar Malaysia Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Research Centre (Imrec) and Deloitte.
Several selected students will be assigned with different task that includes cage cleaning, food preparations for animals, food distribution and feeding, domestic care and any additional job that relates with the zoo facility.

The 44th convocation of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is going to take place from 24th to 27th March 2010. As usual, in conjunction with the convocation, the Convo fiesta (Pesta Konvo) will also take place for about one week. The Pesta Konvo is such a huge event which attracts massive crowds even from Singapore.
Among attractions during the colourful and lively Pesta Konvo are street soccer contest, mini festival, entrepreneur workshop, and concert performance by local artists.

Those Burger King lover will fancy this news. A new Burger King outlet will be opened alongside with the new Petronas station at Skudai. Both the Petronas and Burger King restaurant is just next to Shell petrol station (plus Mcdonald restaurant). It is expected that this Burger King outlet will be visited by Skudai dwellers and UTM students.
