Spell-It-Right (SIR)

The RHB & New Straits Times SIR National Spell-it-right Challenge is back. The state challenge has kicked off on Friday at Kelantan. Malacca SIR’s was at yesterday and today at Mahkota Parade.

The Johor state challenge is scheduled on July 17 and 18 at City Square Johor Bahru.

SIR will see an increase in the selection of winners and offers bigger prize, such as the RM15,000 for the national champion in the secondary school category.

However, winning it could be difficult as the contest is open to a maximum of 56 national schools per category at state contest. This is more than the previous one.

This challenge is open to Primary and Secondary schools. Each school is allowed only one team of 4 contestants. State Challenge from 7th May till 18th July 2010. National Challenge on 7th August 2010. SIR 2010 is jointly organized by NST and RHB Banking Group and is endorsed by the Ministry of Education.
