Pandan City – Johor Bahru Night Life Shopping Adventure
Once upon a time…
One of my friend asked me, “Have you been to Pandan City?”
I answered, “Not yet but why?”
He responded, “You should come to Pandan City. It is the only place in Johor Bahru that has a night life. Once I bought some DVDs there and one of it was not OK. I went to Pandan City in the afternoon the other day to return and get a replacement for the spoil DVD. To my surprise, Pandan City was empty!!! I never thought it was that empty and there was nobody there at all. I then realized that Pandan City turn lively only at night till deep morning. You should check it out.”
Just now, I brought my family and parents to Pandan City to check it out. I went there at 8 pm. The parking space was still abundant. We went there to have some dinner to celebrate our daughter’s 6th birthday. There are huge options for you to choose to dine there. Among the available cuisines are “gearbox tulang soup”, Ramly burger special with cheese, sate, ikan pari, BBQ, Roti John, roti Nan, Nasi Ayam Penyet, various other western foods and traditional foods.
Where is Pandan City Johor Bahru?
Pandan City is located just south of Jusco Tebrau City, the place is a hive of activity, kinda like the geylang bazaar but at least 4 times bigger.
What can we find in Pandan City?
I can’t list everything here. There are basically too much to be offered from Pandan City. You can get T-shirts, watches, caps, perfumes, belts, books, toys, good foods, DVD, grocery stuffs and so on. I have not really explored the lot 100%. Maybe next time when I go there with my wife and without the kids.
Yep, I was there just now but I think I have to go there again and explore more and check out the best of Pandan City.

Is there a lot of pub and cafe in this area. What time the pub open and close? I heard that there is a lot of Philippines people working there. Would like to feel at home when I visit there?

If you guys looking for a late late night outing, come to Pandan City.
Got a shock can get car wash, shopping and food after midnight. Even a leg massage..ha ha. Pandan is The Place. Yet to try their Wet Market.
I work at a car wash in the pandan city ,
many singapore people come at my workplace ,
they are satisfied with our operating results ..
So come to our place, its name Penyu Car Wash .. ^_^
Result? What result? So slow. Have to wait up to 2 hrs. There about 3 car wash shop at Pandan City. The 1st car wash shop near the entrance at the road from road from jb is the best with sufficient manpower.
Pandan City alo known as Pasar Borong. The best lepak place ever in JB.. Near and GREAT!! When i wasnt working, i was there, almost everyday, going through the custom, just to meet friends. SATAY TAMAN MOLEK. Best giler! A lot of imitation goods but if u really know how to go through the piles, u will find a really neat and A grade goods.

Yes…satay Taman Molek…so nice. Much more nicer from Kampung Melayu Majedee Hawker Ctr’s satay. One pc is only RM50cent only. In s’pore is $0.50.! The hawker ctr there opened until 5am! If wish to do shopping at a nearby supermarket Hwa Tai, dont forget to bring along plastic bags on saturday or if have to bring back with no plastic bag!!! Drivers & bikers never & never offend them cos this is not s’pore. Behave urself & be courteous.
