Situated in the heart of Johor, along Jalan Abdul Samad, rooted a colonial bungalow owned by Malaysian-Thailand couple, Haroon Warawanisha and Azilah Khalild which soon has turned into Fine-Dine Thai Cuisine Restaurant, Tera Thai with interior inspired from the White Elephant Land, Thailand.
With only 10 minutes away from Causeway, on the back of Thistle Hotel (formerly known as Hyatt Hotel), same road as Sedap Corner and on the way to Johor Specialist, Tera Thai Restaurant is suitable for corporate meetings, wedding reception, birthday, wedding, anniversary celebrations and reunions. This entire event is possible as the restaurant provide a calm and sheer ambiance from lighting till the teakwood furniture decoration which came from Thailand itself.
The uniqueness of Tera Thai came from its kitchen where the dishes is freshly prepared by Thai chefs, served by mostly by Thailand national trained staff and with the Thailand ambience interior, feeling exactly like you are now dining in one of those famous restaurant in Bangkok.
The menu selection is the sensual royal cuisines of north east and central part of Thailand. The cuisines vary from common dishes like Tom Yam, Green Curry, Phad Thai (Thai Fried Noodle) to more exotic specials like Som Tham Krob (Papaya Tempura Salad) and Gai Hor Bai Thei (Pandan Leaf Chicken). Not to worry, these wonderful cuisines are MSG free.
Secret technique to prepare these delightful foods is the usage of herbs and spices such as basil, mint, kaffir lime leaves, lemon grass and galanga. The diverse and flavorful menu has something for everybody from hot to cold and vege-lover or not.
The restaurant not just about filling you stomach but also relaxation and tranquility. On the lower level of this bungalow, a spa has been attached called SinggahSana which offered wide variety of massages and packages.

We used to enjoy their food because their food was authentically Thai but we visited them last Saturday and we were very disappointed with their food. We agreed that it was dissapointing and we checked with some friends after that and everyone has negative feedback. We think that they could have changed their chef.
