Lost Malaya: Gallery and Lounge
If you pass by the Lido Beach near Danga Bay, you might realize that there’s a new gallery building standing just next to the Japan Club. It is Lost Malaya; Gallery and Lounge. Since the launched on early February this year, Lost Malaya has become one of the latest attractions to this city. Basically, the building was once an old bungalow, being renovated to be a gallery and café. The owner of the gallery is Chris Thompson, camera operator and professional photographer.

There are many magnificent photos being displayed, from the owner’s personal collection and other contributions. The pictures were taken in Malaysia and some parts of Asia that encompasses Malaya during its pre-independence era. The gallery surely will accompany you back to the early days and feel the atmosphere of this land from the view of the photographer.
Other than that, you can see few drawings, Asian portraits hanging on the wall from the ground floor up to the level above.
Not only that, there is a photo studio for any occasion like wedding photo shoots, café for visitor to enjoy snacks and drinks during the tour, see the antics stuffs like old cameras and other collectible items, in fact you can also play pool with your friends and family.
This place is not only for art lovers, street journalism photo fans or antics collector but for anybody that would love to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of an old-fashioned lounge and café.
