Johor Circuit, Pasir Gudang, Johor

jbcool-circuit-1Pasir Gudang circuit is another world class racing circuit in Malaysia, just behind the Sepang International Circuit.  It is located 30 kilometers away at the eastern part from Johor Bahru and just 15 minutes to reach the Tanjung Langsat Port.

The circuit was built in the year 1986, and was launched by Sultan Iskandar of the state Johor. At first, the development of the circuit is for the local people to use, but then being upgraded for international events.

It was in the year 1994 that the circuit satisfies the FIM World GP homologation requirements and four years later, they hosted World Motorcycle Grand Prix Championship. One of its major factor to attract visitors is because of the location is near to the Senai airport, and not to forget our neighbor, Singapore.

Not just providing a good lane to drive and ride, Pasir Gudang circuit also provides other amenities to cope the customer’s needs. For instance, there are café, exhibition area, more pits, go-kart facility, motor cross track, motorsports academy and many more.

Those who want to use the circuit for training or racing, you may do so by first register, make payment and then required to sign indemnity at the administration office. According to the schedule provided, bike practice sessions are usually held in the morning from 9.00 am while for car training sessions, the time starts at 1 pm to 5 pm.
