Hutan Bandar Recreational Park is situated on Jalan Tasek Utara. This park is spread over an area of 32 hectares. It presents an ideal venue for jogging or soaking in the tranquility of the seven lakes and arboreal splendor of the tropical flora, which have been painstakingly identified and tagged. Kids will enjoy the well equipped multi-themed playground as well as the open-air swimming pool (Fridays to Sundays only). For just RM20 on weekends, anglers can have a go at fishing by the lakes.

Hutan Bandar Recreational Park can be said to be one of the best attractions in Johor. A perfect place to escape the urban jungle. With plenty of open spaces, it provides a lot of recreational opportunities for all the family. A picnic, maybe game of football or just sit back, relax and enjoy the greenery.

There’s also an Orchid Park there which houses more than 200 species from Taiwan, Indonesia South Africa, and rare hybrids.

If you are tired of the city, this is your best escape, but don’t get carried away. Spending too long there will make you forget that this patch of greenery is right in the middle of Johor Bahru.. You might not want to go home.
