Asean Trade Centre to be opened in Johor Bahru

The 6th Freedom Film Fest 2009 will be held in Johor Bahru at Tropical Inn from October 30 – November 1, 2009. This is your chance to catch 23 heart-warming and eye-opening local and international films. And it’s FREE!

The launching ceremony is at 8:00 PM tomorrow (Friday, 30/11/2009). The 6th Freedom Film Fest 2009 will be launched with the screening of AT STAKE, a brave and eye-opening documentary tackling taboo issues faced by Indonesian women. This anthology covers issues of female genital mutilation, unmarried women’s experiences at the gynecologist, prostitution, and the sexuality of a migrant worker.
