Don't Panic, Johor Has Enough Sugar

The state Tourism and Domestic Trade Committee chairman Hoo Seong Chang gave his assurance that there is no shortage of sugar in Johor. He said Johor has 38 main wholesalers who obtained their supply of sugar directly from the factories.

“There is no need to panic or hoard the commodity as Johor has enough supply.”
“Doing so will only create an artificial shortage.”

With that assurance, I am sure many people will be relieved especially when Hari Raya Aidil Fitri is less than 2 months away. Sugar is considered a main ingredients for kuih raya and I don’t think I could enjoy them with artificial sugar.
