When will Legoland Johor Bahru be opened?
For your information, Legoland Malaysia, which is currently being promoted as Malaysia’s 1st International theme park will be open on 15 September 2012.

If you purchase the Annual Pass now, you will get unlimited entry to the park on all regular opening days including weekends, public and school holidays. The Legoland annual pass is valid for 12 months from the date of redemption. The current price is as below:

Adult : RM245.00 / SGD102.00
Children (age 3-11) : RM180.00 / SGD75.00
Senior Citizen (age 60 and above) : RM 180.00 / SGD 75.00

Food & Drink

Quench your thirst with the ‘Kedondong juice with Asam Boi’, made of fresh kedondong (great hog plum). The Chicken, Mutton and Lamb Shank Briyani all come with similar servings of rice, egg, acar and some dhal. The chicken was fabulous! The portion was perfect and the meat was juicy with precise flavours. The mutton was well cooked and the seasonings used made a lasting impression. As for the first of its kind in Johor Bahru in briyani, the lamb shank’s portion is fit for a king and the meat was very tender, well seared and perfectly seasoned. The owner and chef, Mr. Dean informed us that the traditional recipe used is from Kerala, India, passed down from generations. The briyani rice is boil cooked and has no starch. No coconut milk or ghee is used! How about that for all of you health conscious briyani lovers? He also informed us that the Friday and Saturday specials were fish and prawn briyani done in Hyderabad style as well.

Service

Quick service is what you can expect here. The outlet is not air conditioned but the surrounding open air and fans are enough to keep cool. Operating hours is from 11 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Saturday and they are open for reservations and also offer catering services. Pricing is reasonable and although the lamb shank is priced slightly higher, it’s worth every penny!
