Do you want to eat? Fancy a fresh fried siakap? Look no where. The place where you should go is Kedai Makan Rahmat at Kampung Pasir Puteh, Pasir Gudang. It’s quite difficult to find this restaurant for first timers, but once you are there, you’ll be very glad to be there. The cool breezing air of the shore and the gorgeous scenery create peacefulness in you.
The dishes are simple but delicious. It serve traditional Malay food and I dare to bet with you that the service is faster that a fast food restaurant. Once you are there and order your food, in split second the waitresses will send you the ordered siakap fish, rice and other side dishes. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is, well for me, top notch. I love it. My wife love it too. It’s also a perfect choice for romantic couple. However, most of the customers are from Pasir Gudang area who work in the surrounding industrial area.

I agree with you, but Kedai ‘Rehmat’ for me is more than a restaurant. I have very much good time memory over there. I used to have a lunch with fresh Siakap together with my fellows in Petronas Carigali during my 1-year stay in PG/JB.
Anyway thanks for the clear pictures of kedai Rehmat, I really miss my time together with all my mates in PCSB project. Insha Allah I’ll be back one day.
Malaysia is one of the best pleaces on earth to live in.
