Johor Chess Open
The Johor Chess Academy, Johor Baru Chess Association and Majlis Bandaraya Johor Baru are jointly organising the 12th Chessmaster Bandaraya Johor open tournament at the Dewan Jubli Intan Johor Bahru on April 20.This one-day event will comprise seven rounds with a time control of 25 minutes per player for each game.There are 10 attractive cash prizes on offer in the Open category, with RM1,500 as the first prize and RM1,000 as the second prize. Third prize is RM700, fourth prize RM600, fifth prize RM400 and sixth to 10th prizes of RM200 each. The under-16 prizes range from RM300 to RM50, while the under-12 prizes are from RM200 to RM50.

HOMEDEC 08 in Persada Johor Bahru
HOMEDEC 08 starts today til 06 Apr from 11am-9pm @ PISA. The Kuala Lumpur series will kick off from 1-4 May 2008 in five halls of Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. HOMEDEC heads to Johor Bahru from 29-31 August 2008, to be held at the Convention Hall, PERSADA Johor Bahru.
